Being the second heritage renovation we have worked on for clients, Mick and Tanya, meant that we had our client’s trust and confidence from day one, and we all approached this project with a very clear vision of the home’s potential. Salvaged from an incredibly derelict and overgrown state, the bones of the original house remained intact while an extension of open-plan living spaces embraced the way we live today.
The skill set of the owners and their previous renovating experience meant that they took a realistic and unwavering approach to the time frame it would take to deliver the end result. Incredible attention to detail and workmanship combined with our interior finesse has produced one of our most beautiful renovations that encapsulates the Australian country modern vernacular perfectly. It is definitely one of our faves!
It ticks all the boxes… beautiful joinery, authentic hardware, high ceilings, original finishes honoured, quality bathroom fitouts… the list goes on. The living and family spaces flow out to large elevated decks that catch the valley breeze onto a spectacular black mosaic infinity edge pool.
After completion, the house went on the market and unsurprisingly sold with a 1/2 hour of listing… this was a labour of love and passion for beautiful design…now the next adventure awaits.
