Occasionally a dream renovation comes along that you simply love working on for various reasons.

This was already the long term home for a beautiful growing family that required the original floor plan tweaked so that the families’ changing needs were addressed.
Having a great relationship and understanding with the original architect, Aran Wilman, the upper floor plan was redesigned to incorporate new ensuites and bedroom spaces and the ground floor kitchen, laundry, and powder room were comprehensively redesigned by the Natural Habitat team. Finishes to all of these areas were also carefully curated to the owners’ requirements and supported with customised furnishing recommendations and finishing touches.

Best described as a casually elegant coastal home that is relaxed but has formal references, the kitchen was designed to be functional with considered zones for a passionate cook and orientate toward the resort style external zone. High-end finishes and appliances make it a stunning focal point in the open plan ground floor. A light, calm palette with black, timber, brass accents provide a sophisticated touch.

The ensuites reflect the personalities of the family members, with bespoke vanities and fine detail expressed in the workmanship and tiling.  These spaces are generously proportioned and are a luxurious extension from the bedroom zones.

Although the staged renovations have occurred over several years, this has enabled each space to be carefully considered and beautifully executed. Master trades including tiles, Venetian plasterers, wall paperers and cabinetmakers amongst a few that have all contributed to the final result. Natural Habitat is extremely proud to continue (this is an ongoing and ever evolving project!) providing their “endlessly classic” and personalised input to this stunning home.
