Located on top of the world with a spectacular north easterly ocean vista, this residence has evolved through several renovations with previous owners to the home it is today.
The current owners engaged Ann + Oliver Gee of G2 Architects to rework the entry and internal spaces, creating much improved zoning to accommodate a growing family and home based business.
Both Claudia Nevell of Garden Expressions Landscape design and Natural Habitat Interiors were then introduced at early an stage to ensure a cohesive approach.
The clients being well travelled, had an array of beautiful art and artifacts and a strong appreciation of good design. Clean lines, mid century influence with organic textures coupled with fine craftsmanship quickly became the design basis.
Featuring a mix of timber, stone, natural fibers in soft furnishings, neutral earth based colours with black accents, product was sourced from the likes of Natuzzi, Mokum textiles and Cargo Lane whilst local trades including Jay Webber building and Manny from Wood and Water for the exquisite bespoke joinery.
As with all successful outcomes, input and collaboration between all parties is vital. Its always a privilege to contribute to a space that is a families sanctuary especially when their design aesthetic is so tasteful. This home will be an elegant, timeless and practical living space for many years to come.Back to Projects
